Welcome to the French greenhouse gases emission registry website, dedicated to communicating information to accounts holders

Caisse des Dépôts has been mandated in 2004 by the French Ministry for Ecology to manage the French Registry for GHG Emissions

Eligibility of international credits: link here

Wednesday 20th July 2016 - A disaster recovery testing on UNFCCC side from Thursday 21st July 2016 to Sunday 24th July 016, may leads to transactions rejection.

Only international transfers of period 2 CERs are impacted.
- If you are willing to perform some international transfers for period 2 CERs from a holding account, please wait until Friday 22nd July to validate the transaction
- If you are willing to perform some international transfers for period 2 CERs from a trading account, please wait until Monday 25th July to validate the transaction

If you validate your international transfers of CERs before those dates, the transaction will be rejected by the system.

Wednesday 28th October 2015 - International credits (ERUs, CERs) related to CP1 (2008-2012) are not authorized to be carried over in France

- On 21st October 2015, The Ministry of Ecology officially stated that international credits related to the first commitment period will not be allowed to be carried over in France. This decision is available here
- Credits held can be transferred internationally (from FR or EU to another country) until 18th November 2015. We kindly remind account holders to pay special attention to 26 hour delay applicable prior to the transactions completion. Therefore, operations must be validated on 17th November 2015, 4 PM at the latest.
- However, national transfers (from FR to FR, but not from EU to EU) and voluntary cancellation transactions remain possible until official notification to UNFCCC by the French State of the operations (CP1) completion.
